Sie schloss ihr Bachelor- und Masterstudium in Film an der Tehran University of the Arts ab. Im Jahr 2014 begann sie ihr Masterstudium in zeitbasierten Medien an der Kunstuniversität Linz in Österreich. Sie ist Mitglied des VDFS - Verwertungsgesellschaft der österreichischen Filmschaffenden. Sie konzentriert ihre Tätigkeit auf den Film und hat ein besonderes inhaltliches Interesse an sozialpolitischem Bewusstsein und den Rechten von Minderheiten. Gemeinsam mit Ashkan Nematian gründete sie den gemeinnützigen Film- und Kulturverein Closefilm und das erste Internationale Kurzfilmfestival Linz, um den Horizont des Kurzfilms für angehende FilmemacherInnen zu erweitern. Seit Februar 2020 ist sie auch Vorstandsmitglied der KUPF Kulturplattform Oberösterreich. Im Jahr 2020 war sie Jurymitglied in der Kulturdirektion der Stadt Linz für die Sonderförderung Linz Impuls. Sie war 2020 Line Producer des Spielfilmprojekts Looteyo. Sie war Mitglied der Jury des 49. Festivals of Nations.
