Danach folgten 12 Jahre Produktionserfahrung in Film, Werbung, TV. Sie führte Regie bei 8 Kurzfilmen und gewann dafür zahlreiche Preise, u.a. den BAFTA. Mit ihrem Debüt-Spielfilm "Madison“ (Kinostart 2021) gewann sie u.a. den Kinder-Medien-Preis "Der Weiße Elefant" für Beste Kinoproduktion. Danach machte sie Serien-Erfahrung mit 2 Staffeln „Soko Linz“ (ORF/ZDF, je 4x 45min) und der ersten Staffel von „Die drei !!!“ (Disney+, 5x 30min). Neben der Entwicklung von „Am Wörthersee“ schreibt Kim an ihrem historischen Bergdorf-Thriller „Schneeblind“ und dem Politthriller „Long Pasia“, der die Abholzung in Borneo thematisiert. Teilnahme als Regisseurin beim Int. Film Festival Innsbruck Talentecampus (2013). Teilnahme als Drehbuchautorin bei der Drehbuchklausur Kitzbühel mit Madison (2015). Teilnahme als Drehbuchautorin an der Akademie für Kindermedien mit Madison (2015/16), Gewinnerin des Baumhaus/Boje Medienpreises. Kim Strobl (born 1982 in Innsbruck) studied Film & Television Production as well as Directing in London, where she lived for 11 years. She then spent 12 years working in production for film, TV and commercials, whilst directing eight short films that won numerous prizes, including a BAFTA. Her debut feature film “Madison”, which had its cinema release in 2021, won the “Weisse Elefant” for best theatrical feature. The last two years Kim spent directing serial work: 2 seasons of „Soko Linz“ (ORF/ZDF, 4x 45min) and the first season of „Die drei !!!“ (Disney+, 5x 30min). Whilst developing „Am Wörthersee“ Kim is also writing her historical mountain-thriller “Schneeblind” and the political thriller “Long Pasia”, which investigates the deforestation in Borneo.
