Nach dem Studium „Sozialanthropologie und Dokumentarfilm“ (Universität Wien, Manchester und Aberdeen University) nahm sie am Master „Sound Image Culture“ in Brüssel teil, wo sie mit dokumentarischen Erzähltechniken experimentierte. In ihrer künstlerischen und wissenschaftlichen Arbeit setzt sie sich seit Jahren mit den Themen Flucht, Migration und Storytelling auseinander und leitet partizipative Videoworkshops für verschiedene Organisationen und Flüchtlingszentren in Europa. Seit 2019 ist sie wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin (Postdoc in Visueller Anthropologie) am Max-Planck-Institut in Halle, Deutschland.
