Professorin an der NTU Singapore. Sie fokussiert in ihren kunst-basierten, interdisziplinären Arbeiten und Forschungen – Filmen, Videos und Texten- auf den sozio-kulturellen Aspekt der Globalisierung mit einem speziellen Fokus auf Ost und Südostasien. Ella Raidel arbeitet zu Themen der Globalisierung, Urbanisierung, Kino aus China und Taiwan, promovierte und publizierte zu den Filmen des Tsai Ming-Liang.
